Our pan-Asian correspondent Allistair Elliot writes from South Korea:
The news from the front line is that it’s business as usual. Nobody here is in any panic, well, not more than the normal panic of trying to simply negotiate the day without creating a huge social faux pas.
So we are quite calm, relatively speaking.
[Allistair’s blog has to be censored by the relevant authorities before it can be posted on this blog; mostly by me screening for “f” words. Which is apparently an all-important part of teaching English in Korea!

Actually, I was doing an activity today in which North Korea got mentioned. One of my better students was moved to exclaim – pucking North Korea. As a good EFL teacher I felt bound to correct him.
All the best All!
