24.8.13 3pm KO: #MachUn Ail-afael ar Gymreictod Machynlleth remembers its Welsh

Yfory (24.8.13) mae #MachUn Gwyl Werin Gymreig yn dechrau am 3yh ger Plas Machynlleth.

Ges yr awgrym i drefnu digwyddiad gwerinol Gymreig yno gan staff Prifysgol Aberystwyth; er mwyn cael defnydd pellach o’r Pafiliwn yn y goetre yno.

Mae’r trefnwyr lleol wedi llwyddo i gynnal nifer o ddigwyddiadau cyfoes a diddan yno,
gan gynnwys yn uchel iawn eu cloch yr Wyl Gomedi ac hefyd perfformiadau o Dde America ayyb

(gweler http://www.facebook.com/panwales am fanylion pellach o hynny!)

Yr adborth ges yn lleol yw bod angen digwyddiad wirioneddol Cymraeg yna, ac felly atgoffaf cerddorion lleol i ddefnyddio’r adnodd yma ar Sadwrn 24ain o Awst achos mae’n ddiwrnod i chi arddangos eich doniau.

Ry ni gyd yn ymwybodol bod safle Senedd Owain Glyndwr yn isel o ran ymwelwyr ;

dyma felly gyfle i Fachynlleth ail-afael ar ei wladgarwch.

Tomorrow (24.8.13) #Mach1 Festival starts at 3pm at the Woodland Pavilion in Machynlleth.

I was advised to hold a Welsh folk event there by staff at the department of Theatre Film and Television as a suitable and alternative venue for a session.

The pavilion has hosted a number of successful events, but tomorrow is an opportunity for the town to remember its Welsh-ness after the disappointing news that visitor numbers have been low for the site of the historic Owain Glyndwr parliament.

So if you’re within reasonable travelling distance from Mach and have a Welsh folk tune you’d love to share; or simply a song that you’re happy to perform acoustically to the cameras of http://youtube.com/panwalesmusiccymru , then do come along from 3pm.

Thanks

Diolch
